Special education program
At Seville Road State School we provide specialist educational support for those students who have a verified disability such as speech-language impairment (SLI), intellectual disability (ID) and autistic spectrum disorder (ASD).
The program emphasis for students with disabilities at Seville Road State School is on inclusion. Students are part of their mainstream classes for all or most of their school day. Special education support is based on each child’s Individual Education Plan (IEP). The delivery of the program will depend upon the child’s level of need for support and the nature of their disability.
